Hello everyone,
Autumn has certainly arrived, with cold and darker days upon us. What better time to settle in with some good theatre news from The Gage Players?
A Murder Mystery Success
September’s Murder on the Charity Walk, written and directed by Pip Rolls, was another successful Murder Mystery evening. A huge thank-you to Pip, the cast, crew and everyone who came along and joined in the detective work. These evenings have become such an enjoyable part of our calendar — perhaps it is time to make our annual “whodunnit” a Gage tradition!
Coming Soon: A Bunch of Amateurs by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman
Rehearsals are well under way for our winter production, A Bunch of Amateurs by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman, directed by Melanie McCabe. This warm-hearted comedy follows a fading Hollywood actor who arrives in England expecting to perform in Stratford-upon-Avon, only to discover that the Stratford in question is home to an enthusiastic village amateur dramatic group. Egos clash, rehearsals unravel and plenty of comedy follows.
Performances are at 8pm on Thursday 26, Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November at Riddell Hall
You can reserve seats in advance by calling the Box Office on 01737 812 703 or emailing friends@thegageplayers.co.uk or simply turn up and pay on the door. For more information, visit The Gage Players website
