A seemingly innocent village charity walk in the Mole Valley, to get funds for fixing a church roof, turns into a murder scene. The question is, who did it?
Was it the ne’er-do-well Daniel getting some sort of revenge, the heiress who lives in the manor house or even the vicar himself? A radio reporter cannot be fully accounted for and the vicar’s unpredictable wife seems capable of anything. Who had access to the vicar’s confiscation cupboard and what was buried in the churchyard?
Each table of people attending brought together their detective skills to work as a team, deciphering the clues as they are uncovered by The Detective and assisted with interrogating the suspects to uncover and try to identify the murderer.

As well as the Excellent entertaining cast, whose portrayals will stick in the memory. From the endearing, vivacious Vykki, holding things together, the eminence grise of Ed, the sleazy performance from Carlos, who you would not want to meet on a dark night. Then we had the dramatic impact of the outlandish Lucy. A unique performance from Rab who I’ve never seen so constrained and the detective Pip who unfortunately wasn’t very good as a detective but battled on regardless.
